The traditional village Pefkoi is located 7 km north of Makri Gialos which is 25 km east of the town of Ierapetra, on the south coastline of Lasithi Prefecture.

In the narrow streets of the village, people can smell traditional foods that are made by the housekeepers, can see the locals carrying agricultural goods of their own production to their homes, surveying the beauty of country side around the village and of course everybody will experience the hospitality of the locals.
